Greenabella marsh

Greenabella marsh is one of the top birding sites in Teesmouth, although it is not as productive in attracting migrating waders as in the past, it is still worth checking out for birds at any time of the year. Walking along the Greatham Creek bank is a good way to view the marsh. It is worth checking the various posts (left over from the second world war) on the marsh as they are often resting places for raptors which could include Short eared Owls, Peregrine, Merlin and Kestrel.
